Job summary

Humber River Health is seeking a part-time MRI Technologist to join the Medical Imaging team at the Wilson site. The role involves MRI scanning across neuro, musculoskeletal, abdominal, angiographic and breast cases, with responsibilities for safety screening, contrast consent, and radiologist reporting via PACS.

Applicants must hold CMRITO registration as an MRI Technologist, MRT + MRI certification, and have recent MRI experience.

Qualifications

  • Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) as an MRI Technologist required.
  • MRT plus MRI certification required.
  • Registration with CAMRT preferred.
  • Previous recent clinical MRI experience required.
  • Must have working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Must have good teamwork and customer service skills.
  • Must have IV certified.
  • Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.
  • Equity, diversity and inclusion principles in health practices are assets.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a MRI Technologist to join our Medical Imaging team.

Employment Status: Part Time,

Hours of work: 8 hour rotating shifts on weekdays, evenings, nights and/or weekends - subject to change as per Article HRH 2 – Management Rights

Reporting Relationship: Manager, Medical Imaging

Hourly Rate Range: $36.84 - $51.77
