TADH is seeking a Medical Radiation Technologist – MRI to coordinate, perform, and document MRI services within the Diagnostic Imaging department. The role demands clinical judgment, strict adherence to standards, and the ability to maintain patient safety and confidentiality.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality diagnostic images, support training for MRI students, and collaborate with a range of medical staff while working primarily night shifts.

Qualifications

• Eligible for CAMRT membership and registered with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario.
• Ability to perform duties with precision, strict limits and standards, and make independent decisions for patient care.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and document MRI service activities.
• Enforce department policies and procedures.
• Provide high-quality diagnostic images for referrals.
• Protect patients by following federal and provincial standards.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
• Foster effective relationships with imaging staff and other departments.
• Promote hospital resources within the community.
• Ensure a safe working environment per OH&S guidelines.
• Adhere to Standards of Practice for Medical Radiation Technologists.
• Assist with MRI student training as required.
• Work primarily night shifts with weekend day shifts as needed.
• Bilingualism is an asset.
