Job summary

BayCare Health System in St. Josephs Med Arts Building is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MR procedures and support imaging patient care.

Required are an Associate degree in Radiology, BLS and ARRT credentials, with at least 1 year MRI-specific training. This PRN position offers flexible shift options and occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in Radiology or related radiology program.
• Credentials: BLS and ARRT (Radiology Technologist) with MRI specialty or ARMRIT (MRI) within one year of hire.
• Experience: 1 year MRI-specific training required if holding an AS in Radiology or Technical Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MR procedures.
• Image patient care and manage RIS data.
• Assist physicians, transport patients and perform related clerical duties.
• Handle file room duties and general organizational tasks.

Summary:

Performs diagnostic magnetic resonance (MR) procedures. Responsible for imaging patient care, radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.
