Job summary

CAE seeks an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Instructor to deliver MQ-9B SkyGuardian RPAS training for the RCAF at AMDet(E) Greenwood, NS. You will run classroom and hands-on sessions, assess trainees, update materials, and ensure compliance with CAE/RCAF requirements.

You will collaborate with SMEs and training developers to align content with operational needs and safety standards. The role requires maintaining current MQ-9B knowledge, supporting scheduling and logistics at Greenwood, and

Qualifications

• Must hold Transport Canada aviation maintenance qualifications/certifications.
• Minimum 2 years instructional experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Minimum 5 years of first- and second-line aircraft maintenance experience.
• Eligible to work in Canada and able to obtain security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and hands-on maintenance instruction for MQ-9B SkyGuardian RPAS.
• Assist in creation, review, and improvement of instructional materials and lesson plans.
• Collaborate with SMEs and training developers to align content with needs and standards.
• Assess trainee performance via practical and theoretical evaluations; provide feedback.
• Maintain up-to-date MQ-9B/system knowledge and instructional best practices.
• Ensure compliance with CAE and RCAF policies and safety requirements.
• Support scheduling, logistics, and administrative tasks at AMDet(E) in Greenwood, NS.
