Job summary

Magna Windsor Seating is seeking a Mold Maker to perform daily PM checks and repairs on foam molds, while conducting scheduled maintenance and mold modifications to support production. The role emphasizes safety, housekeeping, and collaboration with Process Engineers, QA, and Maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Mold Maker, Tool Maker.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of how the carriers operate on the racetrack.

Responsibilities

• Perform day to day PM checks and repairs on foam molds.
• Perform scheduled PM work on foam molds
• Mold modification and enhancements
• Maintain a safe work environment and perform housekeeping activities.
• Interact with Process Engineer, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Maintenance
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled carrier and mold changes to suit production requirements.
• Perform regular safety checks on forklifts as directed.
• Adhere to Health and Safety and Environmental standards in accordance with the Magna Charter and the Occupational Health and Safety act.
• Other duties as assigned.
