Job summary

Magna Exteriors is seeking a Mould Change Technician in Ontario, Canada. You will schedule mould changes, stage tooling, and support production teams while maintaining 5S standards and safety practices.

Role requires mechanical and electrical aptitude, Grade 12 education, and injection mould experience; English proficiency is essential. Ontario-based position with competitive hourly wages and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 high school education and/or semi-skilled technical training.
• Proven mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written).
• Injection mould process troubleshooting experience required.
• Mould change and rigging experience an asset.
• Tow motor licence an asset.
• Able to use heavy hand tools including pneumatic impact guns and wrenches.

Responsibilities

• Schedule set up teams mould changes and adjusts for production schedule.
• Stage tooling and perform mould changes as required in a support role.
• Maintain integrity and complete mould change check sheets and inspections.
• Complete daily 5S audits.
• Communicate with Process and Production Team Leaders when targets are not met.
• Lead daily team meetings and report major issues.
• Input daily data related to mould change performance.
• Support CI initiatives related to mould change projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
