Energy Job Shop is seeking Motorhands for seasonal positions in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Motorhands are responsible for the safe operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of rig engines and mechanical equipment, supporting drilling operations.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and eager to work in a team environment, often in remote locations and challenging weather conditions.

Motorhands - 20/10 - $42.80/hr - AB, SK

This company is seeking Motorhands for seasonal positions in Alberta and/or Saskatchewan. Motorhands are responsible for the safe operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of rig engines and mechanical equipment, supporting efficient drilling operations. The ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and eager to work in a team environment, often in remote locations and challenging weather conditions.

What You'll Need

• Previous experience as a Floorhand (required)


• Experience as a Motorhand (asset)


• Experience in oil and gas drilling environments


• H2S Alive, Standard First Aid/CPR, CSO, Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry, WHMIS, Loader Operator, Lock Out Tag Out (may be required)


• Completion of company and client-specific training and orientation


• Ability to work rotating shift schedules (20/10, 14/7, 21/7)


• Physically fit and able to perform demanding work


• Ability to work in remote, camp, and outdoor environments


• Must pass fitness-for-work and drug/alcohol testing
