Salary: $27.10 hourly / 35 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year

Responsibilities

Tasks:

  1. Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed
  2. Clean and maintain work space
  3. Replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components
  4. File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired
  5. Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
  6. Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers
  7. Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
  8. Apply primers and repaint surfaces
  9. Repair or replace interior components
  10. Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields and sunroofs
  11. Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling
  12. Mix paint, blend and match colors
  13. Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
  14. Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
