Responsibilities

Tasks:

  1. Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed
  2. Clean and maintain work space
  3. Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
  4. Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
  5. Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers
  6. Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
  7. Apply primers and repaint surfaces
  8. Repair or replace interior components
  9. Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields and sunroofs
  10. Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling
  11. Mix paint, blend and match colors
  12. Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams
  13. Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
