Job summary

FCT in Oakville, Ontario is seeking a Customer Service Representative to handle high‑volume calls and serve as the first point of contact for clients. You will ensure a professional, friendly experience, build rapport, and own each interaction while ensuring timely close of transactions.

The role requires 3–5 years in a call center or banking environment, mortgage administration experience a plus, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a call centre and/or 3–5 years in banking or mortgage operations.
• Mortgage administration experience or a Legal Assistant/Law Clerk diploma is a plus.
• Excellent phone etiquette and strong interpersonal communication.
• Ability to build rapport and own every interaction.
• Detail oriented with ability to multi‑task in a fast paced environment.
• Good judgment in handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls to service clients.
• Address lawyers and lenders on file issues and escalate to partners as needed.
• Process lender follow‑ups and ensure standards are met.
• Communicate file updates to internal and external partners.
• Organize rush requests and assist with document packages and reporting.
• Meet and exceed customer needs; escalate issues to the department manager.
