Desjardins seeks a seasoned professional to develop mortgage financing opportunities and relationships with real estate professionals in the Capitale-Nationale region. The role emphasizes prospecting, tailoring financing offers, and cross-selling insurance products to drive growth.

Requires a college diploma and minimum four years of relevant experience, plus fluency in French and strong English communication. Frequent travel, a valid driver's license, and flexible scheduling are expected.

Qualifications

• Four years of relevant experience or equivalent combinations of qualifications and experience.
• Knowledge of French is required.
• Intermediate knowledge of English due to duties and tools.
• Intermediate knowledge of Spanish or a third language due to duties and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain lasting relationships with market intermediaries (real estate agencies, brokers, developers).
• Invest in client prospecting and identify client needs.
• Develop mortgage financing offers to meet targets and close deals.
• Promote the overall offer (including insurance and cross-selling).
• Maintain a presence in the local business community and stay informed on industry trends.
• Adhere to regulations governing distribution of financial products and services.
• Stay informed about financial services news and best practices.
