Job summary

Germain Hôtels in Canada is seeking a Steward/Dishwasher to support kitchen operations under the Chef's supervision. You will run the dishwashing machine, assist cooks with prep, and maintain a clean, organized work area. This role emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, and adherence to hygiene standards.

The position requires physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand for several hours, and work well under pressure in a busy hotel kitchen setting.

Responsibilities

• Basic prep of food items for service.
• Keep the dishwashing area organized, tidy and clean.
• Set up the dishwashing area and operate the dishwashing machine.
• Regularly clean the machines.
• Manual dishwashing as required.
• Receiving/putting away F&B inventory.
• Keep the outside area clean, free of litter and swept if necessary.
• Keep the garbage containers emptied and cleaned.
• Assist where needed.

• Basic prep of food items for service
• Keep the dishwashing area organized, tidy and clean
