Job summary

The Edgemont, located at 80 Edenwold Drive NW in Calgary, is seeking a Part-time Server (7am-11am) to join Cogir Senior Living in its bright dining room. You will support with dining room setup, serving residents and guests, and maintaining cleanliness during and after service.

Preference given to candidates with food service experience and working with seniors; the role requires physical ability to lift and stand for long periods, with an asset for a second language.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service and with seniors is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with residents.
• Physically able to lift and stand for the duration of the shift; a second language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• To serve meals to residents and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• To set and clear dining tables and deliver tray service as required.
• To assist with cleaning of dishware, cutlery and dining areas after service.
• To assist with catering and participate in special occasions and theme events.
