Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is hiring a part-time server at The Edgemont in Calgary. You will help set up dining spaces, serve residents and guests, and support with tray service and cleanup in a welcoming dining room.

Preference given to candidates with prior food service experience and comfort working with seniors. Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for most of the shift; VPS clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service and working with seniors preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills demonstrated.
• Physically able to lift and transfer heavy items and stand for long shifts.
• Proficiency in a second language is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• To serve meals to residents and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• To set and clear dining tables and deliver tray service as required.
• To assist with cleaning of dishware, cutlery at shift end and dining area upkeep.
• To assist with catering and participate in special occasions and theme events.
• To participate in orientation/training of new culinary staff.
