Job summary

FreshPoint, a division of Sysco, is seeking a delivery driver in Canada to provide excellent customer service by delivering to customer sites on a tight schedule. The role requires operating a Class 5 vehicle with Air Brake Endorsements, adhering to safety and food safety policies, and maintaining trip logs and vehicle condition.

The position offers a day shift (06:00 a.m. – 02:30 p.m.) with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits described by Sysco.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience operating a vehicle with a clean driving abstract.
• Experience in warehouse, distribution or manufacturing is an asset.
• Class 5ABE License with clean Driver’s Abstract and clear Criminal Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to customer sites in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
• Establish positive relationships and resolve delivery-related issues.
• Accurate delivery per routes, schedules and invoices.
• Safely deliver goods from vehicle to designated storage areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and vehicle.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
