Qualifications

• Proficient in Oracle PL/SQL and DB2 with performance tuning.
• Experience in Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting (Bash, Korn).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Experience with scheduling tools such as Autosys or Control-M.
• Strong communication and teamwork to collaborate with analysts and developers.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality solutions on deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL applications and database objects.
• Develop and optimize DB2 SQL queries, stored procedures, and data processing routines.
• Create and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts for automation and batch processing.
• Support production systems and troubleshoot application and database issues.
• Perform performance tuning of SQL queries, PL/SQL code, and database processes.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Prepare technical design documents and implementation plans.
• Ensure compliance with development standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
