Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain PL/SQL applications and database objects.
• Develop and optimise DB2 SQL queries, stored procedures, and data processing routines.
• Create and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts for automation and batch processing.
• Support production systems and troubleshoot application and database issues.
• Perform performance tuning of SQL queries, PL/SQL code, and database processes.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Prepare technical design documents and implementation plans.
• Ensure compliance with development standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

Job Title: PL/SQL Developer (Unix & DB2)

Location: Montreal, QC - 3 days a week onsite.

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PL/SQL developer with strong Unix/Linux and DB2 database skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimising database solutions, batch processes, and automation scripts that support critical business applications. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
