We are currently looking for a Senior Application Support Analyst to join one of our major financial clients in Montreal.

Job Overview :

You will be part of a dynamic and central team responsible for ensuring stability, reliability, and performance of applications used by trading and risk analysts. Your role involves both functional and technical support, incident resolution, and collaboration with development teams to continuously improve production services.

Key Responsibilities :

• Monitor and maintain production environments supporting trading and risk operations
• Perform daily system checks (morning and evening) to ensure stability before US and Asian markets open
• Troubleshoot live incidents in close collaboration with traders and developers
• Manage the incident ticket backlog using Unity
• Identify and implement improvements and automation using scripting tools and observability platforms
• Collaborate with Dev teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performance applications
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement efforts
• Support security and compliance initiatives aligned with ITIL best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Must-Have :

• Languages & Scripting : SQL, Python, Java, Shell
• Workflow & Ticketing : Unity, ITIL framework

Experience :

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Application Support or similar role
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Comfortable working in a DevOps-oriented and production-facing environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to react quickly to incidents
• Ability to write and understand SQL queries
• Readiness to complete a technical coding test during the selection process
• Hybrid work model : 2-3 days on-site per week in Montreal.
• On-site interview in Montreal
• Candidate must be located in Montreal or willing to relocate
• English fluency, French is a plus.
