A leading transit project firm in Toronto is looking for a Monitoring Surveyor to ensure structural integrity for the Ontario Line South project. You will conduct monitoring activities across various sites and be part of a mobile team with flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Candidates need a degree in Surveying/Geomatics or relevant experience in construction surveying. This role offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 CAD - $85,000 CAD, alongside comprehensive benefits including disability and dental insurance.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience in construction surveying.
• Prior experience in construction monitoring projects preferred.
• Proficient in working in active traffic lanes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monitoring activities as directed by the Monitoring Lead Surveyor.
• Ensure safety and efficiency in data collection.
• Document any damaged monitoring points and equipment.
• Propose improvements to monitoring processes.
• Perform regular instrument checks.
