Job summary

TI Automotive is seeking a Mold Making leader for the Windsor Mold Tooling facility to oversee day-to-day operations of a Mold Making group, ensure a culture of health and safety, monitor budgets and financial performance, and provide people leadership through training.

The role emphasizes mentoring, continuous improvement, and operating with integrity, with responsibilities spanning training, project knowledge, and hands-on troubleshooting of plastic injection molds.

Qualifications

• 10 yrs minimum mold making experience in a progressive, dynamic environment.
• 3 yrs experience in leading plastic injection tool manufacturing is considered an asset
• Strong communication, ability to speak to all levels of the team effectively.
• Experience leading teams and driving continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment
• Project management experience considered an asset
• Experience assessing manufacturing processes and driving improvements
• Process oriented
• Time management skills
• Ability to train and develop employees
• Able to multitask efficiently, able to work under pressure
• Ability to delegate tasks appropriately
• Strong technical skills
• Ability to take ownership and responsibility of the project

• Demonstrates knowledge on the customer, the commodity, and the specific project.

Job Summary
