Job summary

TI Automotive is seeking a Production Associate in Ontario to contribute to the production of polymer resin pellets for plastic moulding while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role involves operating machinery, monitoring product quality, and communicating with supervisors. You will support maintenance, handle materials, and maintain production documentation in a team-focused manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Technical training and experience would be an asset.
  • The ability to read, write, and speak English is a requirement.
  • Practical experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting would be an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Work Safety & Procedures: Responsible for performing tasks in a safe and productive manner related to the production of polymer resin pellets. Follow work procedures and manufacturing instructions consistent with established quality standards and work towards meeting production schedules and targets set by the company.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production progress, issues, and potential improvements.
  • Machine & Equipment Operations: Responsible for operating various types of machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing process and perform visual inspections to check the quality of the resin pellets being produced, immediately reporting any malfunction, quality concerns, or safety hazards. Work with the production technician to support any work required to address machine malfunctions.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Support the technician to troubleshoot and diagnose any equipment or machine problems. Support routine maintenance tasks including cleaning equipment and with more extensive repairs or preventative maintenance activities.
  • Material Handling: As directed, handle and move materials, parts, and tools efficiently within the production area. Ensure proper storage and organization of materials.
  • Documentation: Maintain production records including logs of machine performance, production output, and quality issues.
