Job summary

Temporary Solutions Group is seeking an experienced Modular Installation Engineer to operate from our Windsor depot. You will travel nationwide, mainly in the South, to deliver, install and maintain modular living accommodation.

You must be physically fit with a construction background and hold a full UK driving licence. You will act as an ambassador for the business, provide a high standard of service, and follow strict processes, H&S rules, and tachograph regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in skilled trades/construction environments.
• Able to work under pressure and adapt to changing demands.
• Full UK driving license (and towing trailers if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect kitchen and bathroom products.
• Construct and decommission modular products on site.
• Carry out general maintenance and repairs at customer sites.
• Act as an ambassador for the business while driving company vehicles and wearing uniform.
• Provide a first-class service and promote the business within networks.
• Follow highway code, tachograph rules, data protection and company procedures.
• Install guidelines using provided software; follow H&S procedures.
• Communicate product issues promptly to relevant departments.
• Look for opportunities to improve product quality and efficiency.
• Weekend on-call and willingness to stay overnight if required.

The Temporary Solutions Group provide alternative accommodation solutions to UK insurers, local authorities and a variety of healthcare providers. Our work supports people affected by fire, flood and injury, allowing them to stay in their own home whilst repairs and/or adaptions are made to their property.

We are looking to recruit Modular Installation Engineers to join our friendly team based out of our depot in Windsor. The role will take you around the country (mainly based in the South) on a daily basis supporting our customers. You’ll be delivering, collecting and providing maintenance to our range of kitchen, bathroom and modular living accommodation, which requires construction and decommission on site.

Key Duties / Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery, and collection of kitchen and bathroom products.
• Construction, and decommission of modular products.
• Carry out general maintenance and repairs on product set whilst at the customers property.
• Act as an ambassador for the business at all times when driving a company vehicle and wearing company uniform.
• Provide a first-class service in order to promote the business across social media and back to the insurance network.
• Follow processes and procedures as outlined by the business:
• Highway code and tachograph rules
• Data protection, social media and internet usage
• Install guidelines, using the software provided.
• Follow H&S procedures highlighting potential issues swiftly.
• Communicate any product issues in a timely manner to the relevant departments.
• Look for opportunities to improve the product, quality, efficiency through your role.
• Weekend on call.
• Willingness to stay overnight if required.

We would love to see your CV if you have the following skills and experience:

• Experience working in a skilled or semi-skilled construction/ trades environment.
• Work well under pressure and be able to prioritise changing demands.
• Knowledge of tachograph rules and regulations (desirable but not essential)
• Physically fit
• Full UK driving license.
• Towing trailers (not essential training will be provided)
• Work well in a team with a can-do attitude.
• Have a general knowledge of maintenance and problem solving.
