Job summary

The Production Manager will oversee daily factory operations across production, quality control, safety, logistics, and workforce coordination to meet schedules and uphold respectful, culturally grounded practices.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in manufacturing/ops.
• 5+ years in production/manufacturing/industrial operations.
• Experience supervising staff in a factory setting.
• Knowledge of production scheduling, workflow optimization, and quality control.
• Working knowledge of occupational health and safety standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in Indigenous workplace is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production scheduling to meet output targets and deadlines.
• Supervise and support factory floor staff, fostering a safe, respectful, and productive work environment.
• Coordinate workflow, materials, and labour to optimize production efficiency.
• Monitor and manage production throughput, quality, and safety targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and address production challenges, delays, or quality issues in real time.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to production processes and staff development.
• Collaborate with management and other departments to align production with organizational goals.
