Department Overview:

Model Risk Management (MRM) group is responsible for establishing and implementing enterprise model governance, risk and control strategies and policies. We oversee and ensure compliance with MRM requirements ensuring that the bank has an effective risk management program within its risk appetite. Summary:

The Senior Analyst, Model Risk Governance, is responsible for managing various operational processes and projects/initiatives within MRM. Operational processes supported include execution of Data Integrity reviews, Quality Assurance & Quality Control program, and conducting Model Inventory Attestation. The candidate is an experienced analyst who can lead effective communication with a diverse set of stakeholders to report and escalation issues as required.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who has strong risk management and coordination fundamentals and thrives working in a fast paced and collaborative environment.

This position reports into the Senior Manager of Model Risk Management in Risk Management.

Job Description
Customer Accountabilities:
  • Work closely with Model Stakeholders to identify opportunities and serve as an ambassador for MRM
  • Monitor/report on compliance, management, and strategic initiatives
  • Support established enterprise-wide risk escalation, review and approval processes, data management, policies and risk assessment processes
Shareholder Accountabilities:
  • Work in a highly interactive, team-oriented environment with Stakeholders across the enterprise
  • Ensure core Bank data and metadata is appropriately managed to support business requirements / needs
  • Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalation issues where appropriate
