Model Validation provides independent review and challenge of models, while Model Risk Governance supports the operating framework, controls, reporting, and oversight routines for the U.S. model risk program. This Canada-based position sits within the Model Risk Governance team and is dedicated to supporting the U.S. MRM portfolio, while collaborating with Enterprise MRM and other stakeholders across Canada and the United States.**Job Description:**The Senior Risk Analyst, Model Risk Governance, is a Canada-based role supporting governance activities across TD’s U.S. Model Risk Management portfolio. The role is suited to a risk professional who combines an understanding of model risk with strong execution, coordination, judgment, and communication. The successful candidate will work with stakeholders across Canada and the United States and contribute to visible, enterprise-level risk management activities.The successful candidate will coordinate recurring governance deliverables—including RCM, RCSA, reporting, issue management, controls, policy and framework maintenance, model inventory and attestation, regulatory change, and DFAST and stress-testing readiness—and will identify risks, coordinate mitigation, and escalate issues as needed. As priorities evolve, the role will support additional programs where MRM has governance, oversight, reporting, control, or compliance responsibilities.* Coordinate assigned U.S. MRM Governance activities from planning and stakeholder alignment through execution, reporting, evidence retention, and completion.* Support recurring programs including RCM, RCSA, governance reporting, issue management, controls, policy and framework maintenance, model inventory and attestation, regulatory change, and other compliance initiatives.* Support DFAST and stress-testing readiness by monitoring deliverables, dependencies, documentation, review progress, controls, inventory reconciliation, and gating matters.* Work across Model Validation, Model Owners, first-line stakeholders, governance and control partners, Compliance, Operational Risk, and Enterprise MRM to clarify requirements, ownership, dependencies, and timelines.* Monitor progress against commitments and identify delays, documentation or control gaps, emerging risks, and matters requiring escalation.* Coordinate mitigation and remediation follow-up, track actions and due dates, and promote accountability for timely resolution.* Prepare clear status reports, dashboards, committee materials, and governance communications for management and other stakeholders.* Maintain auditable records and help improve reporting, controls, procedures, role clarity, and governance processes.**Job Requirements:*** Undergraduate degree in business, finance, risk management, economics, analytics, or a related discipline.* Relevant experience in risk management, governance, controls, compliance, audit, or program coordination within financial services.* General understanding of model risk management and an interest in developing further expertise.* Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and stakeholder-coordination skills.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with governance, workflow, reporting, or model inventory tools is an asset.* Ability to work effectively across Canada and the United States.
