Job summary

WSP in Canada is seeking a Transportation Engineer/Planner to contribute to mobility planning and advisory projects across Canada. You will join a team delivering transportation policy, master plans, environmental assessments, and design for roadways and transit while supporting public engagement and multi‑disciplinary collaboration.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of related experience, strong writing/presentation skills, and the ability to work with GIS and AutoCAD/Civil 3D.

Qualifications

Requires a degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering and eligibility for P.Eng.
1–2 years of transportation engineering or planning experience is preferred.
Strong technical writing and presentation skills, with MS Office competency.
Collaborative mindset and passion for multi‑modal design.
Experience with GIS, AutoCAD/Civil 3D is beneficial.
Experience with municipal projects or environmental assessments is an asset.

Responsibilities

Collaborate on transportation projects from data collection to reports and graphics.
Apply best practices for multi‑modal transportation and traffic projects.
Work with engineers, planners, and designers to deliver integrated solutions.
Prepare memos and technical reports that inform decisions.
Engage with clients and communities through meetings and public consultations.
Grow project coordination and management skills for mobility projects.
