Job summary

WSP in Canada is seeking a Transportation Engineer/Planner to contribute to transformative mobility projects across Canada. You will join the Mobility Planning and Advisory team and work on transportation policy, master plans, environmental assessments, and design studies for road corridors and transit.

You will collaborate with engineers, planners and designers, prepare technical memos, reports, and engage with clients and communities through meetings and public consultations.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering.
• P.Eng. eligible.
• 1–2 years of experience in transportation engineering and/or transportation planning.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills, with advanced Microsoft Office capabilities.
• Experience with MS Office, GIS, and AutoCAD/Civil 3D would be beneficial

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on innovative transportation projects, from data collection and analysis to design, technical reporting and graphics preparation.
• Apply best practices and creative solutions for multi-modal transportation, transit, and traffic projects.
• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams of engineers, planners, and designers to deliver integrated solutions.
• Prepare technical memos and reports that influence decisions and drive impactful outcomes.
• Engage with clients and communities through meetings and public consultations.
• Grow your expertise in project coordination and management while shaping the future of mobility.
