Job summary

Noojmowin Teg Health Centre is seeking a Mobile Wellness Team Lead to provide leadership, coordination, and clinical oversight for the Mobile Wellness Team delivering accessible, culturally grounded mental health services to people with serious mental illness across Manitoulin Island.

This role requires collaboration with Elders, knowledge keepers, and healthcare partners, strong leadership, trauma-informed care, and the ability to integrate traditional and Western healing approaches while

Qualifications

• Current registration with a regulatory college in a relevant health field.
• Bachelor of Social Work or health-related degree with relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical mental health or addictions experience.
• Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, and coordination experience.
• Valid G class driver's licence with reliable vehicle and clean abstract.
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and operational oversight for the Mobile Wellness Team, including intake, care coordination, and clinical service delivery.
• Participate in policy development, program planning, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support team members through case consultation, mentorship, and clinical guidance.
• Coordinate service delivery schedules and ensure timely responses to client needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and EMR data entry.
