Job summary

TEN Canada Ltée in Montreal is seeking a Mobile Trailer Technician to travel to customer sites for preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on trailers and equipment, including dry vans, reefers, heaters, flatbeds, chassis, and more. You’ll work under the Service Manager and join a growing TEN team.

The role offers a competitive salary, a $2,500 signing bonus, paid vacations and personal days, a healthcare spending account, boot and tool allowances, PPE, a company truck, and team events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Trailer Service Technician or similar role.
• Knowledge of trailer systems: electrical, suspension, braking, structural components.
• Experience in fabrication, welding and/or tailgate repairs is a plus.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly in writing and orally.
• Excellent written and spoken French.
• Capable of safely lifting up to 85 pounds.
• Willing to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to perform preventive and scheduled maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment per company and manufacturer specs.
• Repair customer and fleet owned units as directed.
• Write explanations of work performed and review work orders.
• Ensure work orders and paperwork are filled out properly.
• Record parts used for the specific task.
• Maintain work tools and submit completed work orders to the mobile manager.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
