Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Mobile Security Supervisor in Peterborough, Ontario. Lead and mentor frontline guards, conduct mobile patrols, respond to incidents, and serve as the after-hours client contact to uphold service standards across client sites.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, accountability, and customer-focused security leadership within a full-time temporary position with day or night shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security experience.
• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
• Valid Standard or Emergency First Aid certification from a WSIB-approved provider.
• Minimum G2 Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor, and support frontline security guards.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, incidents, and requests for assistance.
• Perform mobile patrols and site inspections.
• Investigate and document incidents, hazards, and customer concerns.
• Serve as the primary after-hours contact for clients and security personnel.
• Assist with staffing shortages, scheduling challenges, and emergency deployments.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide operational updates.
• Complete reports and documentation accurately and professionally.

Ready to suit up as a Mobile Security Supervisor

Are you a motivated security professional who enjoys leadership, problem-solving, and supporting others? As a Mobile Security Supervisor, you will help maintain GardaWorld’s service standards across multiple client sites by coaching, mentoring, and supporting frontline security guards. You will conduct site visits, respond to alarms and incidents, perform mobile patrols, and act as the primary after-hours contact for clients and security staff.

This role is ideal for an experienced security professional who can build strong relationships, promote accountability, and deliver excellent customer service.

Position type: Full-time - temporary, with the possibility of extension

Schedule: Straight days (0800 - 2000) or nights (2000 - 0800).
