Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Mobile Security professional in Vancouver, British Columbia to provide security services at multiple client sites across the metro area. This part-time role operates on Saturdays and Sundays from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM, requiring dependable, professional independence and mobile patrols.

You will conduct patrols, respond to alarms and incidents, and maintain clear reports while representing Allied Universal with a high standard of customer service and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mobile security.
• Valid BC Security Worker Licence.
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
• Must provide 3 year Driver Abstract.
• Ability to operate company vehicles and use mobile devices.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and wireless technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours per week.
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and random mobile patrols of multiple client properties to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and client service requests.
• Perform interior and exterior patrols, identifying and reporting security risks, hazards, or suspicious activity.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and vehicle inspection reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients, property management, emergency responders, and Allied Universal management.
• Lock and unlock buildings, perform site inspections, and verify that security systems are functioning properly.
• Maintain company vehicles and equipment in a clean and serviceable condition.
• Follow all company policies, emergency procedures, and health and safety protocols.
• Provide outstanding customer service while representing Allied Universal in a professional manner.
