Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dependable Rock Tool Inventory Clerk to manage underground tool stock, track issues, and ensure timely delivery of tools to drills and work areas. You will use the Rock Tools Management System to monitor performance and generate reports.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential to liaise with supervisors and service representatives, perform regular stock counts, and document time records and incidents to support safe, efficient underground operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Detail oriented with good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a team and show initiative.
• Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manages rock tool inventory and tracks new issues, discards, and losses.
• Delivers tools to drills and work areas underground.
• Utilizes Rock Tools Management System to monitor tool performance.
• Troubleshoots and provides technical recommendations to Supervisor and Sandvik reps.
• Reports occurrences indicating improper usage or selection by operators.
• Completes accurate time records, technical reports, and failure reports.
• Performs daily/weekly stock counts.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

• Manages rock tool inventory and tracks all new issues, discards, and losses
• Delivers tools to all drills and work areas underground
• Utilizes Rock Tools Management System to monitor and report on the tools performance
• Troubleshoots and provides technical recommendations and improvements to the Supervisor and Sandvik Sales and Service Representatives
• Reports occurrences that may indicate improper usage or selection by operators
• Completes accurate time records, technical reports, and failure reports
• Performs daily/weekly stock counts
• Performs other relevant duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Requirements

• Completion of Secondary School (High school)
• Ability to work as part of an integrated, broad team
• Detail oriented
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible, self-motivated with demonstrated initiative
• Ability to work with Outlook and Microsoft Office
