Job summary

Agnico Eagle Mines Limited is seeking a Mobile Reliability Engineer Co-op Student at Detour Lake Mine. Based on-site, you will join the Mobile Maintenance planning and reliability team for a 12-month term, gaining hands-on exposure to a range of mining fleet equipment and data systems.

You’ll work a 14-on/14-off schedule, collaborating with reliability engineers and cross-functional teams to analyze maintenance trends, perform downtime analyses, and help develop procedures that improve equipment

Qualifications

• Enrolled in university Co-op program with ability to complete a 12-month placement.
• Demonstrates strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Committed to safety and reliable maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Review condition monitoring for all Mine Maintenance equipment.
• Analyze maintenance trends and variances to improve reliability.
• Conduct downtime analysis for critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day equipment problems and identify root causes.
• Investigate breakdown history to improve repair quality and maintenance practices.
• Develop maintenance procedures and recommend process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including vendors and operations.
• Assist with parts lists for new equipment and coordinate with OEMs.
• Support with data sources like SAP, WENCO, Power BI for analysis.
• Lead small projects directed by Reliability Engineers and EITs.
• Coordinate with sites to benchmark major components and spare parts availability.
