Job summary

Kenny U-Pull in Ajax, ON is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator to load and move vehicles using a loader, maintain yard access, and assist in crushing vehicles for transport. The role reports to the Branch Manager and requires operating heavy machinery in outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Load and move vehicles with the loader to proper yard areas.

• Perform pre-use inspections of equipment.
• Assist with loader maintenance and servicing as needed.
• Mark cars for inventory control.
• Load crushed vehicles into delivery trucks.
• Perform forklift tasks when required.
• Assist customers with heavy parts and other labor tasks as needed.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Ajax, ON. Reporting to the Branch Manager, theMobile Equipment Operatoris responsible for carrying out various loads of materials requiring the use of a loader.

What you're responsible for:

• Drivingand manoeuvringthe loader to load and move vehicles to appropriate areas in the yard
• Removingrows of vehicles and ensuring easy access and maintaining the yard for our customers
• Operating a machine to crush vehicles and getting them ready for transport
• Performing inspections prior to use of all equipment
• Ensuringthe maintenance and servicing of the loader and the car press
• Markingcars for control and inventory purposes
• Loadingcrushed vehicles intodelivery trucks
• Performing forklift tasks when necessary
• Helping customers transportheavy parts to their vehicle
• Performing labourer tasks when all the loader tasks are completed (removing rims from tires, sorting rims, yard clean up, and depollution)

Qualifications
