Your future role on our team

We are currently seeking junior process engineers to join our mining team in Vancouver and to provide high‑quality consulting services to our clients in the mineral processing and extractive metallurgy industries. This role is ideal for an individual with 2-5 years of experience working for a mining company or a consulting firm. However, those who are new graduates with relevant internships are also welcome to apple. This opportunity will give the right candidate the opportunity to work with our team in Vancouver, BC and with our other teams across the country. There will be access to a network of expertise who are all working towards one bottom‑line. BBA supports growth and development and provides opportunites to challenge technical knowledge.

  • Work with a team of skilled engineers, designers and project support staff under the supervision of a senior engineer
  • Review or analyze PFDs, P&IDs, technical specifications and evaluations; designing and configuring process parameters
  • Develop process heat and material balances using simulation software such as Bilmat, METSIM or HSC Chemistry, or size comminution equipment with software such as Bruno and JKSimMet
  • Participate in the selection, sizing and costing of process equipment for new technology implementation
  • Provide support for the preparation of proposals, studies and technical evaluation reports
