Job summary

North American Construction Group is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators to operate motor graders at the Fort Hills mining site near Fort McMurray. This role features a 14/7 fly-in fly-out rotation with camp accommodations, and requires focus on safe, efficient operation.

Ideal candidates have mining or heavy earthworks grader experience and strong English communication skills, with a valid license and ability to work day/night shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of grader operating experience (16 ft or larger preferred).
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read grade stakes and operate GPS grade systems.
• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Operate motor graders at the Fort Hills mining site.
• Maintain haul roads, loading areas, and dump zones.
• Adhere to safety policies and efficient equipment operation.
• Work a 14/7 FIFO rotation in a camp environment.

North American Construction Group is hiring Heavy Equipment Operators to operate motor graders at the Fort Hills mining site near Fort McMurray. Operators will maintain haul roads, loading areas, and dump zones while working a 14/7 FIFO rotation in a camp environment. Ideal candidates have grader experience in mining or heavy earthworks and are committed to safe, efficient equipment operation.

What you’ll need

• Minimum 2 years of grader operating experience (16 ft or larger preferred)
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Acceptable driver’s abstract
• Ability to read grade stakes

• Silica Awareness
