Job summary

Liebherr-Canada Ltd. in Fort McKay, AB, is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Technician to diagnose and repair Liebherr machinery.

You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, perform maintenance, overhauls, and pre-delivery inspections, and support shop repairs as needed. The ideal candidate holds a Journeyman Heavy Duty certificate, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license, with the ability to travel nationally and internationally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman Heavy Duty certificate.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, inspect and diagnose Liebherr machinery and components to resolve problems.
• Perform maintenance, repairs or overhauls, and pre-delivery inspections.
• Recondition and repair equipment components as assigned.
• Submit reports and maintain documentation accurately and timely.
• Operate and maintain tools and work areas per policy.
