Elk Valley Resources (EVR) is seeking an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) – Mining to support our Engineering team within the Elk Valley. This role focuses on ensuring accurate as-built data for planning and design, while advancing continuous improvement of systems and integration of new technologies.

You will participate in a 4-year program with rotations every 18–24 months, building well-rounded professional engineering skills and strong relationships across mine sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining/Geological Engineering or related field.
• EGBC registration or eligibility; EVR supports eligible employees with EGBC registration.
• Minimum one year experience in an industrial environment; open pit experience is an asset.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies.
• Provide daily survey support to the Engineering and Operations groups.
• Complete accurate month end and quarter end surveys with volume calculations.
• Complete project work to support the Engineering team.
• Prepare, upload, and download files to mobile field systems.
• Support wide ranges of mine planning, including pit and dump design and drill and blast support.
