Job summary

CFT Group in Stittsville, ON is seeking an experienced Mini Excavator Operator to join our hands-on operations team. This role requires safe, efficient machine operation in fast-paced settings and the ability to work independently to meet daily production goals.

Position Overview:

CFT Group is seeking an experienced Mini Excavator Operator to join our team in Stittsville. This role is ideal for a skilled operator who is confident working in fast-paced environments. Starting Wage: $24 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate mini excavators to perform various tasks .

Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly

Load, move, and organize materials as required

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and production expectations

Work closely with supervisors and team members to achieve daily operational goals

Qualifications:

5-10+ years of hands-on experience operating mini excavators in construction, landscaping, utility installation, site development, recycling, or other related heavy equipment environments.

Experience in industries such as heavy civil, mining, pipeline, recycling, or similar high-production environments is required

Experience operating a 16-22 ton excavator with a vehicle-dismantling attachment is considered an asset

Strong understanding of safe equipment operation and job site awareness

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs

Strong work ethic, dependability, and team-first attitude
