Job summary

West Red Lake Gold Mines is seeking an experienced Miner 4 - Trucker to operate underground haul trucks, transport ore, waste rock, backfill and supplies, and support production targets in our Red Lake District mine.

Reporting to the Underground Mine Supervisor, you will work a 14 on/14 off rotation, follow safe work procedures, coordinate with Scooptram and haul truck crews, and uphold high housekeeping standards while adhering to company policies and provincial regulations.

Reporting to the Underground Mine Supervisor, the successful candidate will work a 14 & 14 rotation and be responsible for operating equipment and managing materials within their assigned work areas. The role involves performing a variety of duties that contribute to the underground mining cycle while adhering to safe work procedures and supporting production, operational, and safety targets.

About the Candidate:

Previous experience as an Underground Trucker or 5 to 10 years experience in a related position, is considered an asset.

Posses a working knowledge of underground mining methods and mine safety procedures.

Strong commitment to safety standards and operational excellence, whilemaintaining high housekeeping standards.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

Committed to continuous improvement and adherence to company policies and provincial regulations.

Physically fit and capable of performing demanding work in underground mining conditions.

Underground Common Core Modules are considered an asset.

About the Role:

The Miner 4 - Trucker position offers a competitive base hourly rate of $67.53, with eligibility to participate in a production bonus program that may increase total compensation up to $101.30 per hour, subject to program terms and performance criteria.

This position is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of ore, waste rock, backfill, materials, and supplies throughout the underground mine. This role requires the operation of underground haul trucks in accordance with mine plans, traffic control procedures, engineering requirements, and company safety standards. The position requires adherence to established procedures, effective communication, and a commitment to achieving production targets while maintaining high housekeeping and safety standards.

• Demonstrate the ability to follow direction and coordinate effectively with the Scooptram Operators, haul truck operators, and other members of the team.
• Work closely with Scooptram operators and other mining personnel to ensure the timely movement of materials.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in all assigned work areas.
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and equipment defects promptly.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of underground mining operations.
