Job summary

Artemis Gold is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to lead planning, design, and optimization of water management across the Blackwater Mine site. You will oversee hydrology, hydraulics, water balance modelling, and water treatment, coordinating with Operations, Environment, and Capital Projects.

The role requires a P.Eng. in Canada, 3–5 years in mining or water management, and proficiency with GoldSim, AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and Power BI. On-site work with a two-weeks-on, two-weeks-off schedule.

Qualifications

• Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada and eligible for EGBC.
• Bachelor’s degree in Water resources, Civil, Environmental, Mining Engineering, or related discipline.
• Master’s degree in water resources engineering or related discipline is an asset.
• 3–5 years of mining, industrial, or water management experience.
• Experience with hydrology, hydraulics, hydrogeology, water balance modelling, and water treatment.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work practices and comply with BW Gold Health, Safety and Environmental Programs.
• Lead surface water and groundwater management programs for safe mine operations.
• Lead planning, design, construction, commissioning, operation, and optimization of water management infrastructure.
• Develop, maintain, calibrate, and validate the GoldSim water balance model.
• Coordinate with Operations, Environment, Maintenance, Technical Services, and Capital Projects.
