Greenstone Mine in Geraldton, Ontario seeks a Mine Surveyor to support technical services and mine operations through layout and pickup of designs, drone-based data collection, and GPS coordination.
The role requires surveying experience with rover GPS, Total Station, and drones, plus strong safety and communication skills. Field-heavy work schedule and potential fly-in options are included.
The Greenstone Mine commenced production in May 2024 and will be one of Canada's largest open-pit gold mines, with annual production expected to average nearly 400,000 ounces of gold per year for an initial 14-year mine life with additional potential from a large underground deposit. Greenstone Gold Mines LP is owned by Equinox Gold Corp, a Vancouver-based mining company with four operating mines in Canada, the United States, Mexico and Nicaragua.
Reporting to the Survey Supervisor, the Mine Surveyor is responsible for supporting technical services and mine operations through the layout and pickup of various mine designs such as drill patterns, dig areas & stockpiles, the planning and execution of drone flights, and other data collection and layout.

The salary range for this position is from $100,966.00 to $123,403.10.
