Equinox Gold Corp. seeks a Mine Operations Dispatcher for Greenstone Mine in Geraldton, Ontario. The role dispatches the mining fleet to meet daily targets, serving as the main liaison with operators and maintenance while monitoring KPIs and supporting the Production Supervisor.
Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of open pit mining experience and advanced CAT MineStar knowledge, with a focus on safety, schedules, and continuous operation of haul fleets. The position is based on site at Geraldton.
The Greenstone Mine commenced production in May 2024 and will be one of Canada's largest open-pit gold mines, with annual production expected to average nearly 400,000 ounces of gold per year for an initial 14-year mine life with additional potential from a large underground deposit. Greenstone Gold Mines LP is owned by Equinox Gold Corp, a Vancouver-based mining company with five operating mines in Canada, the United States, Mexico and Nicaragua.
We are seeking a Mine Operations Dispatcher to join our team. Reporting to the Mine Operations Superintendent, the Mine Operations Dispatcher is responsible for safely dispatching the mining fleet to achieve daily deliverables based on the mining plan. As the primary point of contact for operators and the maintenance team, as well as monitoring key performance indicators, the dispatcher will provide ongoing support to the Production Supervisor.
Greenstone Mine provides company transportation from multiple pick-up point locations.
