West Red Lake Gold Mines Ltd. is a Canadian gold exploration and development company focused on restarting the historic Madsen Gold Mine in the Red Lake District of Northwestern Ontario.

The Security Lead Hand will lead the Security Services team, oversee access control, and support emergency response while ensuring safety, accountability, and operational excellence at the Madsen site on a 14-days-on, 14-days-off rotation.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in mining, industrial security, law enforcement, military, or related field.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience managing teams in remote/industrial environments.
• Valid security license and compliance with OHSA requirements is essential.
• Proficient computer skills for reporting, record management, scheduling, and documentation.
• First Aid & CPR-C Certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise the Security Services team to ensure site coverage.
• Oversee access control systems and emergency response support.
• Develop, implement, and update security policies and protocols.
• Coordinate fitness-for-duty and drug/alcohol testing per policy and law.
• Schedule security patrols and investigations into incidents as needed.
• Maintain security control room systems and surveillance equipment.
• Support training delivery and communications with staff and visitors.
