Wesdome Gold Mines is seeking a qualified Mine Electrician for the Eagle River Mine near Wawa, Ontario. This role requires a Red Seal ticket and deep knowledge of mining electrical standards, with responsibilities spanning electrical construction, maintenance, safety, and preventative tasks in a remote mine site.
You will collaborate with maintenance, operations, and health and safety teams, perform diagnostics on underground equipment, and ensure compliance with CEC/OEC and M421 codes.

Wesdome is a Canadian-focused gold producer with two high-grade underground assets, the Eagle River mine in Ontario and the Kiena mine in Québec. The Company’s primary goal is to responsibly leverage its operating platform and high-quality brownfield and greenfield exploration pipeline to build a growing value-driven gold producer.
The Mine Electrician is responsible for electrical construction and maintenance of the mining operation and camp complex, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and policies. The incumbent also performs repairs and preventative maintenance following job procedures, industry practices, and directives from the Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor or Superintendent, planning jobs efficiently and cost‑effectively.
You are a safety‑driven, Red Seal–certified Electrician with a strong understanding of electrical codes and mining standards. You take a disciplined approach to safe work, communicate hazards clearly, and collaborate effectively with operations, maintenance, and health and safety teams. You have a proactive mindset for preventative maintenance, accurate reporting, and continuous improvement.
