Job summary

ALO in Toronto is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver the ALO experience through product knowledge, genuine guest connections, and a team-driven culture.

The role supports mindful movement branding, community education, and flexible hours for a part-time schedule up to 30 hours per week, including busy holiday periods. Candidates should be able to move constantly, lift up to 50 pounds, and climb ladders as needed. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1+ years in a client-centric, sales environment.
• Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences.
• Aligns with ALO’s Guiding Principles.
• Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel as a team.
• Constant movement in all store areas; willingness to assist where needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders when required.
• Ability to stand and move for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Impacts the business and store environment in a positive manner aligning with store leadership and company goals.
• Drive and exceed sales goals by leading ALO’s Flow initiatives, while optimizing productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure engagement with customers and provide a friendly and easy to shop environment.
• Build client relationships daily with our customers.
• Analyze reports with leadership to strategize and deliver results; focus on growth opportunities.
• Ensure effective sales floor coverage and lead selling initiatives as needed.
• Educate guests on store goals, initiatives, launches, and the ALO business model.
• Use company tools and incentives to support meeting store goals.
• Resolve client needs quickly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Educate guests and staff on our product, community and culture.
• Manage the daily schedule with leadership to prioritize business strategy.
• Assist in processing shipments and maintain product flow, replenishment, and visual merchandising.
• Ensure front and back of house procedures follow policy and operate efficiently.
