Job summary

LOK Energy Services is seeking a Registered Red Seal Journeyman Millwright to service and install oilfield and mechanical equipment in Calgary. You will perform predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance, test and commission equipment, and align components to precise tolerances.

Qualifications

• Registered Red Seal Journeyman Millwright with a completed four-year apprenticeship or equivalent trade experience (minimum 72 months / 9,360 hours).
• 4-6+ years of industrial mechanical experience in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, with solid knowledge of OHS regulations, WHMIS, and proper PPE use.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to mentor apprentices and follow supervisory direction while working independently or as part of a team.

Job description

DAY IN THE LIFE:

• Assemble, install, align, test, and commission newly fabricated oilfield and mechanical equipment to precise tolerances
• Perform predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance, including vibration analysis, inspections, lubrication, and component replacement
• Diagnose, service, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems using blueprints and schematics
• Operate machining, hoisting, and lifting equipment; conduct precision measurements; maintain safe, clean, and organized shop conditions
• Work safely and collaboratively with a positive attitude, producing high-quality work from engineering drawings with minimal defects and mentoring apprentices as needed
