Job summary

IAMGOLD Corporation is seeking a Site Services Millwright for the Côté Gold Mine in Ontario. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing stationary equipment to support safe and reliable site services operations.

The ideal candidate will have a college diploma in Industrial Mechanics, completed apprenticeship, and a Red Seal or Ontario Certificate of Qualification is preferred, with at least five years of related experience.

Qualifications

• College diploma in Industrial Mechanics (Millwright) required.
• Completed apprenticeship required.
• Certificate of Qualification in Ontario or Red Seal is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair stationary industrial machinery and mechanical systems, ensuring safe and reliable operations.
• Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to install, align, dismantle, and assemble equipment such as pumps, conveyors, and generators.
• Inspect, diagnose, and resolve equipment issues, maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, power transmission systems, potable water, and wastewater systems.
• Operate tools and lifting equipment safely, fabricate components as needed, and perform routine maintenance including cleaning and lubrication.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues, meet shift goals, and maintain clear communication and accurate reporting.
• Drive operational excellence by identifying inefficiencies, supporting continuous improvement, and applying risk-based thinking.

About The Role

We’re looking for a Site Services Millwright to join the Côté Gold team, based at the mine site with a start date TBD, reporting to the Site Services Supervisor. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing stationary equipment to support safe and reliable site services operations. Your work will ensure critical infrastructure operates efficiently and safely, supporting operational continuity and high safety, performance, and sustainability standards.

Job Qualifications

• College diploma in Industrial Mechanics (Millwright) or another related field.
• Completed apprenticeship is required.
• Certificate of Qualification in Ontario or Red Seal is preferred.

Relevant Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
• Previous experience in remote camp site services is considered an asset.

Salary Range: $89,000-$133,500 + bonus.
