Job summary

Dare Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the night shift at our Milton, Ontario plant. You will be responsible for preventive maintenance, repairing mechanical equipment, and documenting activities in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Join a team focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. 3–5 years in maintenance is an asset; the role offers full-time hours and a competitive hourly pay rate of $44.05.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of equipment and processes within scope of job.
• Skilled in root cause analysis and troubleshooting of hydraulics, pneumatic and mechanical equipment problems.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet using Scissor-lifts and ladders.
• Working knowledge of lathe, milling machine, grinder and hand tools.
• Working knowledge of MIG/TIG welding.
• Demonstrated experience in working in a fast paced team environment.
• Must have good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others.
• Must be physically fit.
• Problem solving, job task planning and organizing, continuous learning and improvement.
• experience working in a food related environment in a maintenance capacity
• 3 to 5 years' experience in a maintenance role is an asset

Shift: Night shift Sunday- Thursday ( 10:30pm to 6:30am). Full Time benefits

Pay Rate: $44.05/hour

Key Responsibilities:
