Job summary

Calhoun Super Structure Ltd. is seeking a motivated Millwright / Maintenance Technician to support reliable operation of welding and fabrication equipment across the facility. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, install equipment and maintain records.

You will work on welding equipment, fabrication machinery, cranes, compressors and production support systems, participate in safety procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement and capital projects.

Qualifications

Licensed Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) 433A preferred.
Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technician or related trade certification considered an asset.
Minimum 3 to 5 years maintenance experience in manufacturing, fabrication, welding or industrial environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on welding and fabrication equipment, cranes, compressors and support systems.
Diagnose failures, complete repairs and maintain maintenance records.
Maintain welding equipment, positioners and extraction systems; assist with setup of new equipment.
Maintain compressed air, ventilation, lighting and building infrastructure.
Respond to breakdowns, identify root causes and restore equipment quickly and safely.
Follow lockout/tagout procedures and safety policies; participate in safety inspections.
Identify opportunities to improve reliability and support capital projects.
Maintain work orders, inspections and equipment histories.
